Accutane
I haven't posted in a while. I have been going to the dermatologist for the last couple months and started Accutane on Wednesday 4/26. So far no drying out effects which I have heard can be very severe. I will post pictures each week of the progress that has happened so far in clearing acne. I will post a picture tonight when I have no makeup on so that the acne can be clearly seen by the camera. Hope this acne clears soon as I have been dealing with it for far too long.

Clear Skin??
So since the last breakout that I had (and since starting to use the acne solutions toner) my skin has cleared up almost completely, all that is left are the annoying blackheads that I have on my nose and cheeks. I have been washing my face twice a day for about 3 weeks now, and after not seeing a whole lot of improvement I decided that it was time to contact clinique, the helpful lady said that it could take up to 6 weeks!! since I have never been had a skin care routine my face has to detox itself, I am annoyed with the blackheads now though, because my skin is now clean looking, moisturized, and looks radiant, so I have been reading skin care remedies and tips online and heard that using a scrub a couple times a week is very helpful to clear up blackheads. So off I went on new years eve to walmart to purchase the st ives apricot scrub, and biore strips. This is the 2nd time that I use the scrub and I like it, the only downside to using it is that since the toner that I am using also has salicylic acid in it my face has been kind of dry, so I am switching back to my regular toner and see if that helps. No pictures of everything that I am using yet, but I promise I will have them in a couple days... promise.

Starting out
I have had acne on my skin since I can remember. I have always been the type of person that really didn't care what my skin looked like....until I turned 22 and still had some moderate acne and some bad breakouts during that time of the month, I have been pregnant twice and during both my pregnancies my skin has been glowing and acne free. I wanted to find a solution and also start preventing early signs of aging and finally want to take proper care of my skin, have the same skin as when I was pregnant but without the pregnant part. Sooo while out taking my grandma to buy her face creams back in SeptemberI happened to wander over to the clinique counter and so it all began. I bought a few products and ended up spending about $250 dls. on all the products. Which included the clinique 3 step system type 2, pore minimizer lotion, all about eyes, superdefense 25 spf moisturizer, turnaround visible concentrate. So I decided at the beginning of December after using it on and off for the past couple months that I was going to use it religiously because I was noticing that my pores were getting bigger and bigger and so I started using it in the morning and at night. I cannot believe it but my skin has a glow to it which it never had before, the acne is still there after almost 3 weeks and I am starting to get desperate because its that dreaded time of the month and I had a bad breakout so today I bought the acne solutions toner and hope to see the results soon. I will post some pictures of the products soon and also some pictures of my face so that the before and after results can be seen. I am starting to love the clinique products but if they don't work am willing to try something else for this crazy, oily, dry skin of mine.
